Expat in Denmark invited 30 members to the Danish Parliament for a tour and a discussion with a government representative yesterday.

Malou Aamund (from the governing Liberal Party) met the group and started off the tour by showing us a live session of the "Folketing". The tour then continued around the building, to the portraits of Folketing presidents and prime ministers, the famous meeting room between the old "Upper house" (closed in 1953) and the Folketing, as well as the original Danish constitution (Grundloven).

After the tour, Malou took the opportunity to discuss some of the issues and challenges that Expats encounter when moving to, living and working in Denmark.
