The Danish Chamber of Commerce and Expat in Denmark are pleased to present a new book report on work life in Denmark, from an Expat perspective.
If you already know that you call your boss in Denmark by her first name, where to find your Danish co-workers after 4 pm, and how to avoid breaking the Jante Law, then you probably don’t need to read this publication. For everyone else, “Living and Working in Denmark – An Expat Perspective” is the perfect place to begin learning about Denmark.
Its seven chapters offer a description of everything from workplace dynamics, the ins and outs of Danish social life, and how your family can get the most out of their stay here – all in the words of people like yourself: Expats.
Moving abroard is filled with surprises, and Denmark is no exception. We hope that “Living and Working in Denmark” can make the transition a little bit easier!
The report is created by Oxford Research for The Danish Chamber of Commerce, and financed by the Danish Ministry of Employment. The publication is targeted Expats, who have either recently arrived in Denmark, or people considering a life and career in Denmark. We also hope that Danish/international companies, recruiting agencies, as well as counselors and other organisations working with Expats will be able to use the report in their daily work.
