More than 300 people participated in the first Expat Dinners event, meeting and getting to know each other over informal dinners around the country.

Most of the known dinners were established via Expat in Denmark, where members registered to be matched with a suitable family, couple or individual. However, many of the biggest companies in Denmark established their own matches, bringing the total number of people involved up to more than 500.

"We are extremely pleased that so many expats and Danes embraced this initiative. It is extremely important that we build relations between the two groups, so expats and their families are motivated to stay in Denmark," says Craig Till, Head of Secretariat in Expat in Denmark.
