The Danish Chamber of Commerce has developed the concept with Second Opinion as technical partner. The concept was initiated by the Danish Chamber of Commerce on behalf of its members. The aim of the portal www.ExpatInDenmark.com is to support the expat before, during and after their stay in Denmark.

The Copenhagen Post is the main distributor of the Danish news in English and publisher of the only English-language newspaper in Denmark. They will be responsible for the more substantive part of the network news and current activity and debate on the website.

The Danish Bankers Association will as an interest organisation for banks in Denmark ensure that the network has a firm grip in the financial sector and is also responsible for the contact with the Danish Bankers Associations members and foreign employees. The Danish Bankers Association will also provide essential knowledge and understanding of the Danish financial sector and ensure that the network is able to ultimately provide advice and guidance on how to establish yourself as a bank customer in Denmark. Furthermore it will provide guidance on other challenges for foreign worker in Denmark within the organization's interest area.

Second Opinion has created the content of this portal and also developed the platform as an intranet platform which meets the demand of the users. The different communication platforms fasten and secure the communication. Second Opinion has developed the backend integration, thus the users will work on a portal that is user-friendly and meet the demand that expats have. 

Hjort & Mikkelsen has created the graphics used on www.ExpatInDenmark.com. As expats come from alle over the world the portal shall be a multi-cultural portal. Hence it has been chosen to convert this aim successfully into the graphics. Furthermore it has been essential to create a positive portal based on the graphics. Hjort & Mikkelsen has created a link between symbolic and the aim of this portal in the graphics.

Medianet Innovations has developed the new communication technology (Live Hotline) used on the platform. The video communication platform by Medianet Innovations gives the expat the opportunity to receive feedback and answers live on the portal. Thus the Medianet platform has been essential in creating this user-friendly portal.
