The Consortium 


The Expat in Denmark Consortium is in charge of developing and expanding the network in accordance with the aims set out by the Danish Ministry of Economics and Business Affairs. Through a joint Secreatriat, based in the historic Børsen building, they are the daily administrators of Expat in Denmark and its services.
The three members of the Consortium are:

The Danish Chamber of Commerce (Dansk Erhverv)

The Danish Chamber of Commerce is an independent, private business association, financed by its 20.000 member companies.
The Chamber covers a broad range of activities, while leaving room for the affiliated trade associations. Overall, The Chamber provides a framework, within which members can meet, and together exert political influence. At the same time, it offers a wide range of services of relevance to a modern company, including legal counselling, communication and knowledge sharing.

As a political interest group, The Danish Chamber of Commerce can effectively represent the many interests of expats, expressed through the Expat in Denmark network. With its vast knowledgebase, the Chamber is also an excellent offset for assisting Expat in Denmark members with information pertaining to working, living and integration in Denmark.

The Copenhagen Post

As the main provider of Danish news in English, The Copenhagen Post is the perfect purveyor of news, culture, events and debate to Expat in Denmark. Through its many activities, The Copenhagen Post has built a unique and vast international public and private network in Denmark, which benefits Expat in Denmark members on both a daily and strategic level.

The Danish Bankers Association (Finansrådet)

As an interest organisation for banks in Denmark, The Danish Bankers Association ensures that Expat in Denmark has a firm grip in the financial sector, and is also responsible for the contact with the Danish Bankers Associations members and foreign employees. The Danish Bankers Association provides essential knowledge and understanding of the Danish financial sector and ensures that the network is able to ultimately provide advice and guidance on how to establish yourself as a bank customer in Denmark. Furthermore, it will provide counselling on a range of other challenges facing foreign workers in Denmark, both on a national and regional level.
