Hey fellow expats I am curious if anyone with a non-EU citizenship has joined the A-kassen? Does it make any sense to join it, and will I get any benefits in case of being laid off? I have read on the 3F website that you're only eligible for benefits as long as you have a work permit, which may well make the a-kassen useless, as you lose your work permit shortly after losing your job.
